Picture Proof

April 1, 2008: 3 weeks, 6 days post-baby

Right now, I have picture proof that pregnancy really does a NUMBER on my body. Repeat to self: This means I have more room for improvement, and I WILL win the challenge. Joy tells me (and I agree) that I really should consider a bikini if possible. I’m going to dig around, and maybe I can piece something together. Perhaps I’ll do double sets (bikini/workout) like I did when I first started Tapping last year.

I scratched the bikini idea and decided to stick with bike shorts, so at least I’m showing the *impressive* rear end that I carry behind me. Too bad I didn’t do this with the last set of pictures, because one of the changes between these sets is definitely the height at which I’m carrying it. My butt’s a bit less saggy. What DOES show in a big way between these two photos is how, even though my measurements have barely budged (2.25″) and my weight is exactly the same, T-Tapp is burning through back fat. I’m starting to show some semblance of a torso and waist again.

Considering how *little* I did this month (shame on me), I’m pleased. Not thrilled, mind you (still wearing those size 16s!), but pleased just the same. Clothing is starting to fit a bit more loosely, and I’m feeling less like Jabba the Hutt. Next time around, look for pictures in which I’ve taken the time to do hair/makeup. It WILL be time for “after” shots, you know.
