11 Weeks!

We’re getting to the end of the 1st trimester, and let me tell you, I will NOT miss the exhaustion. Not one bit. Between workouts and reasonable eating (made much easier to manage once I added Coconut Oil to my diet), I’m maintaining, and even toning up, albeit slowly. This is pretty darned impressive considering how a few weeks ago, I feared I’d gain about 2 pounds per week through pregnancy, and end up gaining even more than the 60 pounds I picked up with Maya!

This week’s measures:

Not too bad! Like I said, I’m holding my own still. Beats me what’s up with the thighs, but I’m not too concerned, as that’s the same measurement I had 8/8. Maybe I mis-measured on the 12th?

Photos coming next week, and (at least) every four weeks after that. See Allison shrink? Hardly. Let’s see that belly grow!

Catching up on my workout log:

Friday: Planned to do Step it to the Max, but looked at the clock and realized there wasn’t time. Instead, did PBS, TTT, TTN, Awesome Legs, and a set of Hoe Downs. Add to that, I had 10ish minutes of “hand bicycle” at physical therapy. My back is getting SO much better now!

Saturday: Hike with la familia! I’m unsure of the exact length, but I believe it was a steep 2 miles — short for me, but since I’ve not been hiking at ALL lately, it was great. I miss hiking, and I want to start ensuring I hike at least 1x/week while the weather still allows it. We’re heading to Colorado next weekend, and I hope to finally drag Mike up a few of my favorite trails. :)

Sunday/Monday: Sick, sick, sick. I woke Sunday with a sore throat and a sneaking suspicion that what I’d been ignoring really was an ear infection. A visit to the doctor on Monday confirmed this, and also told me I now had a sinus/throat infection to boot. In the words of my nurse-practitioner, “Ieeeeew, that’s nasty.” Yeah.

Feeling lots better today, and I might even try to get some workout in, as long as it doesn’t involve holding my head upside down (owwwww). I already did a full set of Awesome Legs before getting out of bed, so that’s a start.
