(aka, the “I think I’m about to die” version)
Today’s workout:
- OIP/HF
- TWO
So, why, pray tell, am I about to die? It’s all about form.
AnaLee noted at the workshop last weekend that I have a tendency to “inch up” (ie, knees getting straighter) through some of the moves. This was my main focus during today’s workout — keeping my knees bent all the way out to toes. Right, that and trying to keep a “uniglute”.
Um, I was sweating by the end of PBS. Noticeably so by the end of Plies. Oh, and I held the plie stance through the entire session. Bent, bent, bent. I thought my thighs were going to catch on fire while I was still on the first side of T-Tapp Twist. Still made it through the second side, but how, I’m not quite sure.
Let’s just say we entirely skipped lunges today, and I’m fine with that. I. Am. Drenched.
Off to shower and see if I can make my new ‘do look fab on my own, then picking up the kidlet. Guess I’m gonna be working tonight…
