Let the bootcamp begin.
Joy helpfully reminded me that I *do* have the audio of B/R TWO. Oh, yeah.
You know, I think my form was better *not* paying attention to the video — although I did find myself using my reflection in the TV as a pseudo-mirror. That could be good, except that the TV is simply too low, so I have issues holding my ribs as high as I’m supposed to.
Today, I had an “Ah-Ha!” moment. I’ve been tucking my but primarily using my hip muscles (pushing) rather than using my abs (pulling). While I could always feel my abs in tuck, using my abs as the primary means for tucking means that I can keep my tuck better, even during that pesky balance sequence! Wahoo — it’s good to feel like I’m getting back into my groove.
So far, I’ve only done TWO (none of the “extra” moves), and I think I’ll keep it that way, with the possible exception of PBS and OIP/HF before bed. If I’m doing a bootcamp and really working on my form, that’s enough — I don’t need Awesome Legs or Diva Derriere…or that core series that I like so much.
